There is a beauty in form, a smooth motion, and subtle power in the church too. But sometimes, when it comes down to it, it’s a messy street brawl. “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice“ Eph. 4:31. It’s starts with little things that are allowed to fester, then bitterness takes root, gossip, anger, and then hate. No faithful believer ever starts out to be this way toward their brother/sister in Christ. In order to circumvent a melt down and division in a church, is for people to remember, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you“ Eph. 4:32.
How did those two boys in the video get to be so good? Practice and discipline. For godliness to reign in our lives we need to practice the same kind of discipline in our spiritual lives. Now that’s power! I’m just saying…
